Julieta Venegas Berkeley reviews
Old Guy Rocks
I have listened to Julieta Venegas' music for over half my life, and I finally got to see her in concert. She put on a very cool show, very theatrical. From start to end, she kept coming, entertaining 1700 people at a very nice venue. Her band did a great job filling in while she changed outfits. After the first couple of songs, I kept thinking, 'what next'? I've never seen a concert of hers before, but it was well worth it. My 19-year-old son went with me, and he really liked it, mostly because of the story line. He knows some of her songs from me as he was growing up. I've tried to get him to as many 'old rock groups' as possible lately. He needs to see that the 'OLD GUYS and GIRLS' will always have a place in rock history.
